Laura McRae
Laura first joined the BVAR project as a field school student in 2001. She is currently attending the University of Winnipeg, and will complete her undergraduate degree in Anthropology with a specialization in Mesoamerican Archaeology in 2003. In 2002, she received the Native American Student Award from the Plains Anthropological Society in Wyoming. She believes that archaeology (as a discipline) should be approached ethically, taking into consideration and involving the culture and individuals that will be affected by the scientific research.
